Spring and summer dates for your diary
Blue Magpie craft fair held at Elmslie House venue and gallery, Great Malvern, Worcestershire, Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May. It’s my first time here, but it looks like it’s going to be very worthwhile! With 34 stallholders there will be a lot to see, and there is a tearoom too :)
Handmade Oxford, The International Contemporary Arts festival, held at Waterperry gardens in Oxfordshire, 23rd June to the 26th June. This year I am delighted to be taking part in this festival as part of Derwent House’s collective stand. I sell my textiles through Derwent House in Witney, Oxfordshire and they have decided this year to take some of their makers to Waterperry. I will man the stand on one day…but not sure which yet!
FarOpen Art Trail is an open studios trail through the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley taking place from the 2nd July through to the 10th July. This year I will be exhibiting my textiles at 18 the Basement, a shop in the beautiful town of Ross-on-Wye. 18 The Basement is a wonderful shop run by my friend Gaby who is a hand weaver….so come and take a look, and tour around the other studios too in the area.
English Choral Experience craft exhibition, Herefordshire, held at Dore Abbey in the village of Abbey Dore! This exhibition is always lovingly curated and is housed in the most stunning setting….an 1147 former Cistercian abbey. If you are lucky you will also hear the choral singers practicing too. I will steward this exhibition for most of the days, so I hope to see you there….this one really is a treat! Running from the 17th July to the 23rd July.
