Next week (19th – 25th July) I will be exhibiting in the beautiful setting of Abbey Dore in Herefordshire. The week long exhibition is put on by The English Choral Experience, and it is well worth a visit; I stewarded the exhibition last year and was very impressed with the quality of the work by the exhibitors and the reception of the visiting public to the event. If you time it right you’ll also hear the beautiful choral singing in the Abbey, which I definitely enjoyed last year. To find out more about this event then head to The English Choral Experience.
I’m stewarding the exhibition again this year, so come and have a look and say hello……
Here are some photos that I took last year:
Form the 24th – 27th June I exhibited my degree collection at New Designers which is held annually at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. It was a tiring week, but well worth it! My interiors collection was very well received; I had some wonderful compliments and interest from companies looking for freelancers. It also looks like I will have some exciting opportunities to sell my work to the public, await further news! I definitely came home feeling happy and relieved that it had all been so worth it 🙂
My three years are up! Having successfully completed the BA (Hons) Textile Design degree, my final collection is now on display at the summer show, along with all the other talented student’s work here at Hereford College of Arts. So do come along and have a look!
Details of show times can be found here: HCA Summer Show
I am very excited to have sold a couple of designs in New York earlier this year as part of the annual joint project with Indesign Recruitment. I sold to fashion designers Tory Burch and Rag and Bone.
